We have historically launched our Design Collection at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany. Unfortunately, as the world deals with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the show was canceled for 2020.
We are excited about our new design collection and could not wait to share a preview with you. This will enable you to view our new collection as well as to request samples. We hope our collection inspires you and gives you hope of a brighter future just ahead.
With that, Schneller presents our 2020 design collection Duality. Duality is a diverse concept; often referring to the feelings evoked by aesthetic contrasts or complements. This is found in the reflection, movement or perspective created by the duplication of an object, or even within the object itself. Our 2020 collection is our interpretation of this concept capturing the complexities and duplicities afforded by the merging of colors, textures, forms and techniques.
The Duality collection boasts a color pallet of muted earth tones, teal, deep warm blue, rich aged gold, warm neutrals, energized cobalt, and bold yellow. Through the development process, our design team explored handmade patterns using duplication techniques such as Xerox transfer, Shibori dying and hydrographic techniques. We combined the colors and patterns in complementary and contrasting motifs and experimented with the juxtaposition of technical organics with soft curvilinear elements. The result – remarkable.
