How many yards are in a standard sheet size?

A standard sheet size is 2.67 linear yards. 

How does bracket pricing work?

Any quantity between the brackets receives that pricing. That pricing is per linear yard.

What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for standard size products?
  • 40 yards for Continuous roll AerFilm/AerTrim/AerLam/NTF
  • 15 sheets for Continuous sheet form AerFilm/AerTrim/AerLam
  • 10 sheets for Press/AerForm/PanFlor/AerScreen
What is standard ship tolerance?

Standard ship tolerance is +/-10% or 10 linear yards, whichever is greater.

Do we have specific parts in stock?

We manufacture custom-made material and typically do not have any excess material. However, please contact your Sales Account Executive or our Customer Service team regarding specific part numbers.

Certifications

Does Schneller provide certification support?
Yes, Schneller Certification engineers can assist you with your certification needs. Please contact your Sales Account Executive or Schneller’s Certification Department at CertificationServices@Schneller.com.
How can I avoid flammability testing for our new Schneller laminates?

Schneller provides various options for demonstrating flammability compliance. If you wish to replace an existing Schneller laminate with a new color and/or texture, similarity letters can be provided. If you wish to replace an original laminate, Schneller can offer a Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) option for many Airbus and Boeing aircraft. In addition, we maintain an extensive library of FAA approved test data. Contact your Sales Account Executive for more information at or CustomerService@Schneller.com.

Can Schneller provide FAA form 8130-3 Airworthiness Approval Tags?

Schneller can provide FAA form 8130-3 Airworthiness Approval Tags for qualifying laminates and non-textile flooring upon request.

620, 733R, 755P, 855, and 885 represent our smoothest textures.

Which textures are geometric?

632, 910, 914, 916, 919, 930, 934, 940, 944, 954, 964, and 974 consist of geometric patterns.

Which Schneller products are thermoformable?

AerForm LHR, AerLam LW, and PanGuard are thermoformable. See the page for each individual product for Schneller’s recommended thermoforming guidelines or contact your Customer Service representative for further information. (Hyperlink to each product page)

Which products are best for 2D application?

Our AerTrim portfolio is best suited for 2D application.

Which products are best for 3D application?

Our AerFilm portfolio, AerLam, and AerForm products are best suited for 3D application.

Which products should be hand applied vs. applied with a machine such as a Heat Vacuum Applicator (HVA machine) or thermoformer?

Schneller recommends applying AerTrim products by hand using a heat gun. AerLam and AerForm products should be applied using a thermoforming machine. AerFilm LHR can be applied by hand or using an HVA.

What is your most flexible product?

AerFilm Contour is our most flexible laminate material.

AerFilm Contour is designed to provide faster and easier installation over even the most complex geometries. It is 2x more formable, 12% lighter weight and less sensitive to heat during application than AerFilm LHR.

Which NTF products are offered for lavatories and galleys?
  • Lavatory: PanFlor, PanGuard, AerFusion via, AerFusion eco
  • Galley: AerFusion fit, AerFusion via, AerMat
What is the average timeline for developing a custom texture?

The average timeline for developing a custom texture is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact your Sales Account Executive or Schneller Design at Design@Schneller.com for more information.

What makes sofTouch different than traditional AerFilm/AerTrim products and other non-slip coatings?

sofTouch is designed to provide a luxurious, warm, leather-like texture with exceptionally low gloss in addition to superior slip-resistance.

What lighting scenarios do you work under?

We work under D65, L940, TL84, CWF, and K5000 lighting conditions.

Can I get a sample of a product?

Yes, samples are available for Schneller products.

For generic product samples, please contact your Sales Account Executive or Customer Service with your product request and application needs and we can recommend the appropriate product samples.

For custom samples, please contact your Sales Account Executive or Design with your aesthetic request so that a custom sample can be produced.

How do I order a texture ring?

To order a texture ring, please contact Schneller Customer Service (CustomerService@Schneller.com) or Design (Design@Schneller.com), and our Marketing department will have it provided for you.
